Death of a child in a game?

do you think that it is possible for any of the children in the game to die?

the death or killing of a child is usually to controversial to get in a game, so this could mean that we should play the game knowing that a child wont die.

i have tried very hard (dont think its possible) to agree with larry and kill duck, but i could never do it, so does this mean children cant die?

jaybreezy 07/12/2012 07:33 am

I could be very wrong but I think we are going to get at least one child death in this game (Duck) and maybe two if they decide to kill the daughter of the crazy lady.

It's the Walking Dead, and not only that it's The Walking Dead based on the comic where anything goes.

In the Walking Dead, "nobody is safe". Being said, there will have to be a certain plot point which affects the loss of a child in the game. We already got Jolene's daughter dead.

If they do it they have to be veerrrrry careful how they do it.

Agreed. Maybe even off-screen but like I said it's The Walking Dead so I'm not ruling out anything.

I'm all for it.

Start with the stupid kid.

You never see zombie children in these kinds of games either. Even though its totally obvious that millions of children have already been killed by the end of episode 2, we've yet to see a single walker that wasnt an adult.

Read the Comics, watch the Show. It's possible and plausible. I, personally, want Duck to get the Chomp.

He's clearly talking about "dumb as a bag of hammers" Duck.

The Walking Dead number 1 rule is: Noone is safe. Including the kids. If Telltale is building a game of the Walking Dead, they sure know what they are doing, and they shouldn't be afraid of killing a kid. I think they are allowed to, if it's not gory....Sophia died in the TV show, but we couldn't see it. Also, Carl got shot, and a lot of kids die in the comics For the haters: Duck migth be grabbed by walkers and die, I just don't think we will see the death scene...

if a child does get eaten by a zombie we wont see it just like we never saw sophia get bit (no flash back scene) and if a child zombie gets killed it wont be a brutal struggle to the death it will be a clean kill just like Spohia, that was a very delicate and calm moment no brutality i think children are still safe from a brutal end, even if nobody is safe from death.

Regarding Sophia in the TV series - true, we didn't see her get bit, but we saw her as a zombie and we most definitely saw Rick shoot her. It was absolutely heartbreaking.

But, unfortunately, this is based on the COMICs... Which I hear, feature some brutal child deaths.

Sophia turned walker and death scene is one of the most brutal and heartripping scenes ive ever seen on tv. Thats a slam of reality right there with no happy ending. As much as i hated it, i also loved it.

We need something similar in TWD game. But if Duck dies i think most will be happy.
So that means Clem got to go. And umm, i dont think that will happen.

but do you think they would have ever had her attack one of them and make them bash her brains in with a rock or something? that would be to much, even for the walking dead wouldn't it?

CapnJay 07/12/2012 08:11 am

wasnt their a dead kid in the first five minutes of the first episode of the show?

CapnJay 07/12/2012 08:17 am
