About TOMY pre-order DVD
 

Hi, I was wondering today about the pre-order DVD of TOMY (the one with Steve Purcell's cover), I remember it was going to take some time after all the season was released and then I kind of forgot about the whole thing but I never received an email about it.

So I was wondering if you guys still have my pre-order exclusive DVD with Steve Purcell's cover?.
Yeah I know it might be a long shot but I don’t think everybody was able to pick theirs and it was only for "pre-purchasers" so there should be some around and thought about asking.

The DVD pre-order started (free for digital season purchasers) on March 11, 2010.
I don't believe that the version with the Steve Purcell cover (or the Deluxe Edition) is still available, but you should have no problem getting the standard edition for free (plus shipping costs).

The last I heard, there's still copies with the Purcell slipcover in the warehouse, so as long as you pre-ordered, one of those should be shipped to you when you order the DVD. Don't take this as official, though.

Macfly77: oh, and there was that too, but I didn’t mean about the dvd pre-order but the pre-order of TOMY, before the first episode was released.

Guruguru214: I think there should be some left since I don’t think most people asked for them and they were supposed to be made only for those who pre-ordered. So I hope you are right and they still have some left in the warehouse... I know they still have mine (lol) *crossing fingers* ^^.

I fear the most recent official comment was that it's not available anymore.

I think (hope) they meant it as that you cant purchase it in the store since it was available only in the pre-order period.

Whether you pre-ordered or just plain ordered the digital version, you have to place a separate order for the free DVD.
The reason I believe that the Purcell cover is no longer available (in addition to DjNDB's quote of Mike) is that when it was available, the Purcell cover was actually shown if you had pre-ordered the digital version and clicked on the standard version in the store. It no longer is.

Maybe we should just hold off until we get some official word on this.
