TWD - Game won't launch with Xbox wired controller
 

If I have my Xbox wired controller plugged in the game won't launch, I had used it prior to Episode 3 without error. As soon as I unplug the controller and relaunch the game it works fine (albeit it corrupts my save games - a seperate issue which i'm not concerned about atm).

Windows 8 RTM x64
Xbox 360 Controller for Windows w/ 1.2 version driver

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Whilst i'm fine using keyboard and mouse i'd really love to share this game with my wife who will otherwise miss out on such a fantastic game!

I hate to bump but has noone else come across this before? The controller works in all other games flawlessly.

I had the same problem did some digging around and got it to work download DINPUT8.DLL from here http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-.../download.htmland stick it in your jurrasic park folder I don't know which one worked I stuck it in all of them but then it worked.

I found this info about this same problem in the walking dead and apparently this solution works for this game as well
