Stuck at episode 2 can't push the zombie off.

I'm playing the second save where I chose Doug I already know what happens if your save Carley she'll just shoot the zombie off me. When Mark said "Push him up" so he can't hurt me I can't figure out I tried pressing Q then E whenever I get pinned by a zombie and I even presses Q and E by themselves all I get is eaten alive.
