Kenny hate & Molly love
 

Im just wondering, cause it seems while a lot of people are willing to condem Kenny for his selfish actions protecting himself and his family, what a dad/husband is supposed to do BTW.
But the very same people are so willing to embrase Molly.
She a complete loner, who tries to kill you even though you are obviously not a zombie.
And I find her claim that she thought you were from Crawford to be thin since as it turns out she's from Crawford.
She agrees to go with you to Crawford only after you agree to give her a spot on the boat.
She takes off on her own agenda once you get to Crawford and then desided, you know what, phuck you clowns, Im outta here once you're done.

She doesn't kill anyone, she doesn't threaten anyone, she doesn't abandon anyone. Kenny can fuck himself for doing all of those things.

Kenny has been around the longest, so that's why he's getting concentrated on. While Molly... well, she did have the chance to kill you, yet she didn't. Granted, because of Clementine. Anyway, from what I understand, she didn't agree with the way Crawford are handling things, she was just looking out for her sick sister as much as she could and just when she didn't have her binding her to Crawford, she bolted, even though she was definitely strong enough to be in their community. Which means, she didn't stay in Crawford out of pure selfishness.

Anyway, it's really hard comparing the two of what I stated in the first sentence. Kenny has been trough a lot with you and the group, while Molly got out just as quick as she got in.

Except some problems with the guy can't simply be waved away with family. After the meat locker incident sh*t changed big time. He wasn't there to help Lee during the struggle with the first St. John brother. You can't say it was because of family since if lee lost that fight he would have been found out. And it's not like he ran straight out and left Lee to find his family, he only ran after the guy was subdued. He's a yellow coward, plain and simple.

Not to mention the very next episode he didn't even bother to help Lee up when the pharmacy door collapsed on him, despite the fact that he would have been in no immediate danger.

Guess what, if you're a tiny chick in a lawless area and catch a guy sneaking up on you, expecting the worst is quite prudent. The fact that she was from Crawford also meant she knew what those people were capable of.

In addition to that, she directly helps the characters on two occasions, once helping people up the fire escape and the other when Lee had to make the jump from the rooftop.

In both cases she helped people that she barely knew and was there when the group needed her, despite having her own goals. Can't say the same for Kenny.

He means if you don't side with Kenny in there. Even if side with him throughout the whole first episode and the beginning of the second, he still leaves you to die because of that. And there's the door incident as well.

It all has to do with perspective, I believe. On my playthrough, Molly seems a lot (really, a lot) more trustable than Kenny. I really don't like the way Kenny thinks, and therefore, he doesn't have my back because of our disagreements. I'd totally pick Molly over Kenny anytime.

And how does that help his cause? Deciding that someone who doesn't help him drop a salt lick on a helpless guys skull is beneath his help?

I agree with Viser and Ninnuendo. I didn't bring Kenny to save Clem for those reasons. Who knows when he might leave Lee/Christa/Omid/Ben to die.

Well, if he's not coming, he wouldn't be there to even have the chance to help out in a situation like that. So taking him shouldn't bring any harm, I mean, he's not Ben, he doesn't cause these situations, he just sometimes chooses not to help out in them.

Even though Kenny wants to protect his family. He never did anything afterwards to redeem himself. The only thing I found him useful for was getting that RV to run and fixing stuff. Lee did most of the work.

I do agree Molly doesn't seem like a very good person to me, didn't actually think of that before. Her whole "You from Crawford?" was bullshit because she would have seen everyone in there. Her snarky comments also annoyed me but the worst thing was when she ran off with the boat battery. I understand the logic but what if you died on your stupid mission Molly? If you fell and broke you're neck, we wouldn't even know where to look for you! Taking the battery was a really stupid thing to do.

Well why not give him a chance to redeem himself by saving Clem? That's one of the big reasons I took him. Not that I had a choice in the matter, with his whole "best friend" speech he gave me.

I never trusted molly the second I saw her. she seemed like she would turn on me any time. I thought there would be a ben/molly decision. I was going to take ben. the only reason I did not shoot her is because it goes against my moral code. If someone needs help and I can save them without risking MY life, I would.

Really? From what I could tell, Crawford was pretty much everyone still alive in the city. Except the cancer survivors. Do you know everyone in your city? Either way, do you really think she would care? Crawford demonstrated that it was a tough world, and that people were willing to do horrible things just to survive.
