most pointless parts of dialogue in the game
my personal most pointless is when Carley tells you to tell the group who you are, when you tell Lilly it's just pointless to tell her because she already knows who you are,and it's a stupid conversation.
this thread might be pointless too :P |
it is :3

Carley: Our group is small.
Lee: You're small. Carley: Don't call me small. Didn't really see any point in this. |

The part in the RV where Lee tells Clem the story about his brother getting hurt to make her feel better about Duck being bit. The tuba bit was kind of funny, but the "I'm glad I have you" option is the best story-wise, lol.
|
"she provides the milk"
|
Doug's chalk rant, it was funny but totally unnecessary.

Personally, I think the most pointless conversation was with Brie in the classroom before she dies, where you learn about her history. It's probably the only conversation I purposefully avoided on my second play-through, knowing it'd be totally useless and a waste of time.

When Lee tells Clementine that being good is good. And he calls himself a college professor.
|
"Hmm...pointy"
|
"Hey what about us? Don't we get a say in-" Brie's last words.

Anything that pops out of Kenny's cake-hole....
|
"I can't reach that brick". Repeat it multiple times to improve the pointlessness.
|
"Acces panel" and "power switch"
|
When you examine the barrel in the beginning of episode 3 and Lee says "Hmm." or "Hmm!".
As for actual conversation style dialogue, whenever an argument is going down and someone yells "Will everyone just shut the fuck up?" I never did like that line, it never worked anyway. :) |
Lee - I have to cut the chain, this random guy with his leg in a bear trap is going to die!!
Lee - *Swings repededly at chain* Mark - That's military grade steel, you're not cutting through that! Ben - CUT DA CHAIN |
the whole doggie door scene.
|
*clicks on door*
"This door leads to that other place! :D" *facepalm* |
