Just another crazy theory (Season Two)

Okay so here goes.

TTG is going to use our completed game saves from Episode one through five to determine how our "The Walking Dead: Season two" games start. We get an option to import our Season one save when starting Season two, and it determines the personality of Clem and maybe gets us some custom responses from Omid, Christa, and anyone else we encounter from Season one.

The whole setup would be similar to the Mass Effect or, to a lesser extent, Dragon Age, save import system. Also, like Dragon Age, it would let fans who have no saves to import choose between one of three pre-built saves; nice guy, neutral, and D-bag.

What's that? Don't have a completed Season one save and don't want to choose a pre-built save? No worries, a "cannon" Clem will be constructed from the stats made from all the episodes. Yup, each decision has an impact upon how Clem acts and responds to the new main character based upon the choices the community made as a whole.

It probably needs to be said that this has ZERO confirmation from TTG, is just a fan theory, and nothing more.

But hey, I think it would be cool.

Oh trust me, I know this and I'm very much looking forward to it. I only wanted to outline a plausible system for our choices and decisions to carry over into that next season.

I guess a better title for this thread would be, "Just another crazy theory regarding season two".

I think some review was dropped here sometime with a line that read something in the manner of hold onto your saves fot season 2.

Pride 11/23/2012 04:59 pm

Yeah, they said to hold onto our season 1 saves.

I do think it will influence Clem's personality.

Yeah, definitely Clem saying "sh*t" and "b*tch" :D

This is actually a really good idea, hopefully they'll go for something along these lines.

If it influences Clementine's personality that means that you won't play as her.
