the reason i ask is because we read an end of the world book in 7th grade where the two remaining people a 15yo girl and 37yo man start having a intimate relationship. i wrote in my bookreport that i thought it was weird and that they should have had a father daughter relationship and i was scolded by my teacher saying they were the last humans on earth so why would not be intimate...

You really missed the point if you thought that would actually happen. Not only is it wrong but Clem saw Lee as kind of her legal guardian and eventually looked up to him as a father figure.

Lee's life was already ruined before the ZA and saw Clementine as a chance to atone for his past and to have a child to protect and take care of, since he wanted a child pre-ZA.
