... a girl version of Carl Grimes. I haven't read all of the comics, but the Carl in season 3 has extremely impressed me in terms of survival skills. Think Clementine will go the same route?

I undestand that Carl turns into a bit of a psychopath in the comic, so I hope not.

In the normal world, maybe. In the Walking Dead world, he's practically well-adjusted.

I don't she will become like Carl, but I do think that by the end of the second season she will be a lot more hardened.

Carl is never a psychopath. He's very much a realist. He sees what needs to be done and often times, he does it. Rick has had far more bouts with psychosis than Carl has.

I hope that doesn't happen to Clem, but it's a likely outcome. Either she changes more or she's going to die. If she does appear in Season 2, I'd very much like her to be more survival oriented and a more integral part of helping the group and not relegated to needing a protector who looks out for her all the time.

That is why I want those two shadow to be new people. It would be interesting if Christa and Omid show up later and see how much she changed.

EPISODE 5 SPOILERS TO FOLLOW:
I wouldn't mind that. Or I've heard other people say maybe have Season 2 be an entirely new cast that runs concurrently with Season 1. Maybe after a few chapters, or not until the very end all that's left is just two people who stumble upon Clementine. Or maybe we get the first chapter with a new group, and at the end these two people are heading out toward Savannah to try and find supplies or something, and they find Clementine in the field alone.

It would certainly give us a chance to import our saves and see what Clementine is like. Maybe she'll say she needs to find her friends Christa and Omid. Maybe she'll warn them away from the city. If Lee told her not to trust anyone, maybe she'll try and flee or not be very forthcoming at all.

I don't want Clem to become like psycho Carl. It is true that the two are in a sense, "immortal" however.

I don't know, it looks like he might be dieing in the upcoming issues, but covers have been pretty deceiving.

I just hope they don't blow a hole in her eye. :(
