Why was lee in civilian clothes
 

In ep 1 when lee was in the police car being transported to prison why was he in civilian clothing. Being that he was convicted and in jail should he had been in some kind of prison clothing. Just my observation:confused:

He wasn't convicted and in jail. He was convicted and in a police car. The prison clothing comes once you're at the jail. They strip you down, confiscate all your knickknacks, then hand out the uniform. The prison has to house you, obviously, so they're not keeping all the clothes at the station. :P

I thought you only get prison clothes when you reach prison and there they take your personal effects and clothes? Not at the police station.

Yeah, he hadn't actually reached the prison to get the... prison clothes. (redundant reply - but, why the hell not)

You'd think he could have dressed up nicer for his day in court! :p

Well, he is bl-...Urban. :p

Lee confirms this in ep 4 with Omid: "Did you get any prison tats?" "I uh...didn't make it that far."

On the topic of clothes...i wonder why Lee was the only one who reverted to his episode 1 clothing after episode 2. All other characters keep their awesome new clothes for the rest of the game. :(

People said it already, I'll say it again. He didn't make it to prison to get the prison clothes.

For some reason I thought his shirt WAS a prison shirt. Damn, I need to get arrested and figure this stuff out.

I miss Lee's jacket. Hell Carley and Clem (determinate) even get even more awesome clothing following episode three...

Well, Lee DOES get more scraggly facial hair in Episode 3. Maybe the budget only allowed for new clothes OR ruggedness.
