But yeah if Clem couldnt do it i'd tell her to leave,i'd rather Lee/me suffer than her.

You underestimate the amount of punishment the human skull can take.
If you don't want to see Lee gently drift off to sleep, you definitely don't want to see him be completely mutilated with a baseball bat. Clementine was able to kill the walker with the bat after 6 hits, but his head was being smashed against the ground, and he had been rotting and deteriorating for months. Lee is propped up against a wall, with a skull that is very much intact. This is a very inconvenient position for a bludgeon victim, you aren't going to be able to get any solid brain-destroying hits (especially if you are a traumatized 9-year-old girl...).
Nevermind the fact that Clementine was barely able to shoot Lee, let alone savagely beat him to death.
Also, walkers do not feel pain to anywhere near the same extent that the living do. They are also no more intelligent than insects, they really don't understand pain and their self-awareness is extremely lacking. Lee's walker would simply be a husk, and while thinking about himself as a zombie is unpleasant, he wouldn't have any real awareness or feeling.
