In case you haven't heard here is the puzzle dev document for Grim Fandango.
I would say Grim Fandango is probably one of the best adventure games ever made so you might want to look at it if you are interested in ever making a game of your own.

I loved the box at the end of the document to collect tears of joy.
And am definitely putting that scam with the lines overwriting each other next time I'm running late with an essay.
