I've fixed the club to the pedulam thrown mushrooms at various thing s but how do I stop/pass the gate ?

I have the lamp and the sand but cant get the umbrella - the cheese has been delivered to Wallace and I guess he needs to eat some so his stomach rumbles etc but how to get him to eat All I can do is...
