No worries, it stands for Universally Coordinated Time, its mostly used by the Military/Airline Industry, so no matter whereabouts in the world you are, you're working to the same time. I only know cos i'm a pilot and it can get mighty confusing working out flight times (especially when I used to fly out in NZ and we file all flight plans in UTC which was 12hrs behind NZ local time!) It would be a hell of a lot more confusing though if we worked off individual time zones!
So in theory they could release it at say 00:01 UTC which is 00:01 UTC in every part of the world, but it would never be the same
local time everywhere
