I think some things will obviously carry over, The locket, but others will not, just because they were optional. Also, it seems like there's only three columns of inventory space, and it was already almost maxed out a couple times in the first episode.

As much as I'd love it, I just don't see how they'd do it. Besides, there were times in the chapter breaks in the old games where your inventory would suddenly drop a few items.
