or, since someone mentioned a RPG -style Monkey Island, why not make "The Restoration of Monkey Island" and have a SimCity/RollercoasterTycoon-style game wherein some natural disaster lays waste to Monkey Island, destroying everything so you can rebuild it from scratch, minus the stupid robot.
