There is a walking trail all around town. Mostly, it follows the road and stuff. But there is that one spot with a sign, and it stops right before the sign, makes a sharp curve around it and goes back behind it. It looks extremely weird, like the guys noticed at the last minute that they were about to make the trail run into the sign.
