I'm not defending hipsters. I'm defending ruining our ability to communicate to one another by using every word to mean everything. "Hipster" is the worst goddamn word because it doesn't mean anything. I mean, maybe at one point it meant "kind of aloof, ironic mustache-having guy on a fixed speed bike" or something, but people tend to use it to mean "young-ish people who like things I don't like," which means its just a waste of a word.
