I dunno, but somehow I see the final episode doing on of the 'Lost' type twist things, where we'll end up back where we were in the beginning again. Very last minute Edna's shoe, and the automatic retrieval system will be explained. Then they'll go all the way back to when REAL doc arrives in the 1930's and stop him getting arrested to start with.
