Bogey Man Golf
I had the same problem. I finally tried mashing the arrow buttons just as the screen was changing after the long hole. It finally got me out of the sidewalk loop and back onto the street. A stupid interface glitch in my opinion, but it let me get on with the game. Good luck with this.
