You don't need internet access to play, just to activate (I've played BTTF with no internet connection).
Did you activate each episode, or just the first one? I think you need to do it for each one individually. And make sure you're using the episode shortcut/launcher specific to the episode you want to play.
If you've been playing an episode ok with internet on, try disconnecting and then launching that episode. It
should work just the same.
