For a long time I was able to fire up any episode when my niece and nephew visited.

Imagine the annoyance when it stopped working.

On start, I hear the opening screen sounds but the video goes ballistic. It seems to stay on the desktop but the flickering makes the computer completely unusable.

I cannot go to the task manager to shut it down so a reboot is required.

I use windows seven on an AMD quad core 9550 with an nVidia 8800 GTS.

I ran windows update. I also installed the latest nvidia drivers.

More intensive games in the categories racing sims and RPGs work just fine.

I checked the game cache integrity on each episode. I made attempts to load episodes on a clean boot.

Same results each time.

Any ideas?
