I got the idea from when my friends and I were in college, and we signed up for this experiment. But then, we found out that the teacher who was conducting it was actually an alien, and that he gave us super-powers and revealed that the Earth is actually secretly ruled by these evil aliens who are planning to feed the world to a giant robot spaceship. So, anyway, we then decided that in order to save the Earth, we have to conquer it. Also, this was definitely real, and not a drug trip.

That idea is pretty darn awesome.
(The drawing is excellent too. Has a nice style)
I personally had an awesome idea for a comic/manga ages ago.
To sum it up: it was basically a comic/manga (I'd prefer it in manga form, though it could work as a comic too), following a average teen.
But like many of my favourite manga's this teen is in a very unusual situation.
You see he has been charged with taking care of his best friend, who is the most powerful entity in the known universe!
Though reluctant to have such responsibility he's pretty much the only person who can get through to this guy, as his "friend" is probably the most childish and illogical being in the universe as well.
The main first story ark would basically explain the background to each character, and a few stories covering the crazy stuff that happens each day.
The main plot, would basically involve the idea that the "friend", (I haven't thought up names yet. Still very rough), is rapidly losing control over his powers.
You see the power-limiting bracelets that he wears were only designed to handle the power he had as a child.
They have been malfunctioning more frequently over his early teen years, (it explains why he's so crazy. Since he has to concentrate very, very hard on containing his energy, he has little brain left for anything else), to the point that the universe was almost destroyed.
So the two have to find the elusive race of aliens that created such advanced technology, and get them to repair and upgrade the device, (else it may break entirely and the whole of reality will collapse under such monumentous power).
Which is much harder than anticipated, since after an intergalactic disagreement, the race decided to sever their ties with The Council, and return to an unknown area of space.
They have clues, they have obstacles, and they are running out if time.
And even if they find them, they have no garuntees.
Pretty strange, huh?

(But the idea is mostly there, the details just need to be all written down and properly fleshed out)
Bleh... I wish I could draw... :/
