Well what might also be interesting is looking at KQ5 or KQ6 boosted up to SVGA or modern HD graphics!
Sorta like what they are doing with the new LSL remakes, or the Monkey Island Special Editions! But please no 'cartoonifying' them...
Also it might be interesting to see a 3D remake of KQ1, as that is the game that I think feels closest to KQ8 as far as style, exploration, story, and 'encounters'.... A lowly 'knight' saving the king...
