The little child in me is squeeing over news of the WiiU! XD
This article covers what Nintendo announced/promised at E3 last year, and in reality, how well they met those.
Needless to say, Nintendo has pretty much scored perfect marks on everything 3DS related, so this E3 will be fascinating to see if Nintendo's vision for the WiiU stayed consistant.
Knowing Nintendo, it probably will mostly be on track, and I should imagine they will have some other stuff to throw into the mix to freshen things up!
I do really hope that Nintendo strengthens their support for the regular control scheme this time.
Motion control is good for some games, but for more advanced stuff a good controller really is necessary.
If they just focus on the capabilities of the tablet, the online service, and "core" games, they should do really well, and definately have my interest.
I just hope gamers don't get burned like we did for the Wii.
(Yeah, Yeah, the Wii had some gamer games in there, but the problem was is that normally the motion controls and power limitations made those games inferior. Nintendo NEED to fix that. Make motion control more optional, stress that to devs.)
