All of these choices have implications, but none of them are as black and white as "I sided with Kenny so Kenny likes me" or "I sided with Larry so now Kenny hates me".
We don't use a Friendship meter or Like/Don't like toggle. We just allow our characters to retain information on the choices you have made and use those decision to influence how they might respond to future actions based on what the characters know. Hopefully this makes the story a more organic experience and less of a state management task.
