Hey there.
I have the CSI: Hard Evidence game for several months now, but I never could get it running properly. Installation was okay, but when I run the game, it goes to a black screen with the cursor movable but nothing happens even if I keep it open for hours (or days, and believe me I've tried). I've searched the forum for similar threads and tried the UM.dll solution but it didn't work.
I don't think it's a hardware problem, as my computer is more than capable of running the game, or at least loading it (AMD A64 3000+, 1.5gb of RAM, GF8500GT).
I've tried installing the game on my brother's computer and it works perfectly there.

Any suggestions?
