Paradoxically, I find cartoons easier to get into than movies nowadays being older. My suspension of disbelief works better than watching actors, especially if we're talking some bad acting.
I like all Disney/Pixar, of course, but somehow even now I find classics like Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Robin Hood... more "mature" than Tangled for example. Also, I love DreamWorks stuff, like The Road to El Dorado and Sinbad.
I adore Looney Tunes - I was lucky to have a wonderful domestic synchronization that I've grown up with. Anything Bugs Bunny does for me.
I've enjoyed some more "experimental" movies as well, like The Secret of Kells or the silent The Illusionist. Planning to see The Iron Giant.
