They are both painful reminders responsible for what the other lost, so they will always hate each other. Kenny killed Lilly's father, while Lilly made everyone stay at the motel long enough for Kenny to lose his family. From Kenny's perspective, if only they'd left sooner, his family would be fine, and Lilly stopped that.
They might be willing to team up, though, as they no longer have their families to motivate them to work against each other, but I don't think they'd feel too bad if either became zombie chow.
