I'm completionist, though (albeit not dedicated enough to play for the
sole purpose of collecting figurines) so the fact that the Goddess Cubes are optional makes them more tedious, imo, because I have little reason to bother for the most part.
EDIT: also, sailing isn't that big a deal in Wind Waker because, unlike Skyward Sword, you can just set your sail and let the game do all the work of getting you there.
