I know almost everyone said "I'll miss you" but I thought it would be more meaningful if he told her "Don't be afriad." It's what I had been telling her since episode three, even before then, I think. Don't be afraid in the abandoned mill house, she wasn't afraid when campman died, and she needed to learn not to be afraid when there was no other choice but to kill Lee. It just made more sense, and honestly added more of a dramatic effect then "I'll miss you" would have, IMO.
