It's kinda odd, but in Praying with Jesus, the prayer that accompanies Matthew 24:36-44 (or Mark 13:32; Luke 17:26-30, 34-35; 12:39-40) says this:
"O God, I never want to live in complacent sloth, soggy in religious routine, smug in pious satisfcation. I want to be expectant and ready for the next thing that you are doing today and again tomorrow. Amen."
