Hi all,
I'm trying to download the demo of "Bone: The Great Cow Bone". My connection to the internet is behind a proxy server.

I got the "Download TheGreatCowRace_Setup now.exe", but when I execute it to download "TheGreatCowRace_Setup.exe", there seems to be no way to specify a proxy server address and hence the download fails.

Is there any way to obtain TheGreatCowRace_Setup.exe through a proxy? Is it mandatory to use "Download TheGreatCowRace_Setup now.exe" for it?

A number of mirror sites have the game up without the download manager. Try Gamer's Hell, 3D Gamers, Download.com, etc.

By the way, I just pre-ordered Sam & Max Season I, should I expected to be able to download the episodes through the proxy (via the e-commerce reseller), or should I expect similar issues?

Unfortunately since we've now just put up new versions of the Bone games, the one you downloaded from a mirror site probably isn't the most recent one.

We'll talk to our service provider about the proxy issue.

I found Bone Ep 2 fine enough nonetheless

Anyway, yes, if it could be possible it would be nice to be able to download directly from telltalegames.com, with all the related advantages, as the certainty to get the current version.

We've put the setup files up on our own server for people who are having trouble with proxy servers. For right now, that's the only way to get the game if you're having trouble downloading through the download manager. I've been posting the links to these on the forum or in email as people ask for them, but we will be redoing our support page this week and I'll be sure to include links to these setup files on that page.
