Hi there! I'd like to purchase Episode 1 of Sam & Max, but I don't have a credit card. I thus signed up for Paypal and added a bank account. Now when I try to buy the game from the Telltale online store, it redirects me to Paypal's website. The Paypal website, however, prompts me to add a credit card as soon as I log in - and it will not let me proceed without entering my credit card information! Since I don't have a credit card, this essentially makes it impossible for me to buy the game. Any suggestions? Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Hi,
I think you first have to transfer the needed money from your bank account to your paypal account (wire transfer). After that you should normally be able to pay with your paypal balance.

Had same problem. What I did was wire transfer without the use of paypal directly to TTG. If you first transfer it to paypal it's the same.

I've been told that you will be able to update to the full season.

I'm going to see if we can get PayPal extended to bank accounts. I'm not sure why it's being restricted right now.

That did work, thank you very much for your help! If you transfer the money from your bank account to Paypal before you place your order, you will not be asked to enter your credit card information. Unfortunately you might have to wait 4-5 business days for the funds to transfer, but at least it works.

Thanks for the info. It's still weird that it's forcing you to enter credit card information.
