I could have put more options in that poll, but my only real focus is about a PS3 version, so I didn't put in every reasonable combination. It's basically just, PS3 or not, with some regard for people who could go either way. I didn't feel it necessary to put in responses for how much you's not care about having a PS3 version.

I had written a lengthy post about why I don't want this game for the PC, but then my PC pooped out on me and ate the post.
(Maybe I should have been using the web browser on my PS3. )

Yeah, the poll is missing the I'm not interested in a PS3/PSN version at all but would get it for the other systems.

(Of course if I only had a PS3, I would want it to come out for it, but I'd rather get it on the PC then Wii then X-Box, before I got a PS3 version).

Some of the developers might answer this:

Since you've got stuff out on the Wii and the XBox, I assume there's just no PS3-port of the Telltale Engine, right? Otherwise it would probably be a breeze to offer PS3-versions as well...

I've already bought it on the PC but I know some people who'd be interested for the 360's Arcade who probably wouldn't buy it on PC.

I cannot believe anyone voted for the first choice. I don't care what system this game came out for I would buy it immediately regardless.

Maybe the options should have just been:

"I have a PS3 and I would buy it if it was released on the PSN."
"I have a PS3 and I would not buy it if it was released on the PSN."
"I do not have a PS3 so I don't care."
"I do not have a PS3 but I'm one of those types of people who enjoy having something that other people don't; so I don't want it to come out on PS3."

Seriously, why are people calling this guy a fanboy, he just wants to play the game...

I think this, as well as the "Put off buying the game..." option are viable reasons to call him a PS3 fanboy. Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with being a fanboy. Unless you're a PS3 fanboy .

I suppose, though you could just as easily read that as; "I wanna play it in HD and on my TV". Call me an optimist I guess

Unfortunately no, while the PS3 is quite the beast, Sony limited Linux quite badly, in that they decided not to allow PS3 linux access to the graphics hardware. Meaning, anything that is 3D is pretty slow. Plus, PS3 linux is PPC rather than x86, so even if it had 3D capabilities, most commercial games wouldn't work.

Haha I guess so. I guess I just don't understand those arguments because my new HD TV has a computer monitor input!

Well, yeah... why the heck should we feel entitled to poke fun at someone who shelled out an unearthly price to a company which has an history of raping his customers in any possible way??

Which comes from another company with an history of raping his customers in any possible way, but at least comes with comparable performance at a much lower price...

Nonetheless, to have to pay a subscription, in addition to game price, to play online seems simply foolish to me... It doesn't happen with Mario Kart Wii

Yes, yes, I am a Wii fanboy... crucify me and gamble my rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle and my plethora of controllers at dice!

Not ALL the games require paid subscription to play online, and the stupid Friend Code system Nintendo uses completly ruins any online experience. And you know Nintendo IS going to charge you for online play of future releases, they gonna have a red Wi-Fi symbol at the boxart.
I used to be a Wii fanboy too, but that was BEFORE I played the Xbox first time. Have you ever tried playing ANYTHING but the Wii? I'm sure if you do you'll change your mind right away

Ok, let's go for it

But, feel free to correct me, I understand it's very very common, rather the norm for AAA titles, isn't it?

Well, I really think Mario Kart Wii (taken as an example) have a really excellent online multiplayer, and you just need Friend Codes when you want to play with specific persons you know, you can play with random people in your region or worldwide without. And I don't mind exchanging friend codes anyway, while I understand this could be ameliorable.

Oh. I didn't know this, and looked it up. I don't mind the additional content thing, but if the "additional services" includes the multiplayer play, it's of course equally as disgraceful, and I won't support that business model. I really do hope this doesn't became common on the Wii as it is on the Xbox. This would ruin the online experience to me.

Of course, a few platforms in fact

I play Xbox360 at friends' homes from time to time... It has its good points, of course, I really enjoyed meddling with Fables II for an evening, for example. Charming, absolutely. But I didn't feel the urge to go and buy one.

It always feels "more of the same" to me, in some way. And I don't hang at all to play FPSs with a gamepad, being accostumed, and slightly addicted in fact , to play FPSs with keyboard and mouse on the PC in the Good Ol' Days of Quake 1/2/3, a gamepad feels slooooow and very cumbersome, not enjoyable at all, even after an evening of trying. I hold really high expectations for The Conduit on the Wii in that regards (is due 10 July here in Europe).

On the contrary, I find the Wii really refreshening, I enjoy mine a lot

Oh... and of course you fight like a cow.

PS: This, as all the previous posts, is intended to be very light-earthed Pun intended, offence not.
