The game runs fine for me until I try to pass through the mermaid/merman pillars next to the glassblowing shop, then it freezes. I've tried several times, I've tried restarting my computer, I've tried going other places and then coming back to pass through again, but nothing works. Every single time, the game freezes and I have to use ctrl+alt+del to close it. The game's good so far and I'd like to finish it, especially since I bought the whole season, but I can't get more than 30 minutes in. I'm running Windows Vista 64-bit, 4 gigs of memory, 2.67ghz Core2 duo processor, GeForce 8800 GTS graphics card.

Sounds like you just have some bad data. Try clearing out your temporary internet files and redownloading/installing the game. Don't delete your saves!
