Fun fact: Max = ... = David Bowie
In Culture Shock, Max was voiced by Andrew Chaikin (Replaced by William Kasten in later episodes).
Andrew Chaikin, in addition to his video game voice work, is also a notable vocalist and beatboxer, operating under the name Kid Beyond: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kid_Beyond Andrew Chaikin is listed among the vocalists working at WaveGroup Sound, recording cover songs for the first Guitar Hero: http://www.mobygames.com/game/ps2/guitar-hero/credits The two David Bowie covers which are downloadable content for Rock Band were also recorded at WaveGroup, and the vocalist for these songs? He's also the voice of Phoney Bone. I think. I haven't played enough of that game to memorize the characters' names. The mean one.

Tales of Monkey Island Episode 2 credits: Pirate Ted - Kid Beyond Murkel Trenchfoot - Kid Beyond McGillicutty - Kid Beyond They're crediting him as Kid Beyond now, which is pretty awesome. Nice to be sure that the singer and the voice actor are really the same person.
