I'm stuck on getting the seahorse summoning artifact from the two pirates. I realise that I'm supposed to do something whilst they have their backs turned on me, but damn it, I can't understand why, and I have tried -EVERYTHING-, and its driving me nuts! :P

I've got to putting the parrot in the chest if that helps but I'm clueless where to go from there.

edit: well go me, i just realised there's more than just flotsam, the jerk baits, and gelato on winslow's map. Hopefully this will lead somewhere.

I don't have a clue what to do with the bucket. I already have the Grumpy fish and the Turtle, but clueless from here on.

I've gone through all small islands. I'm trying to figure out how to use the grill. I'm sure I need to have the thermostat from the jacuzzi, but I don't know how....

go on the narwhal and look at the map after the two pirates have hidden the treasure. the tiny island in the top right corner of the map.

i need some help too:

i opened the chest with the turtle in it, but i cant take it out.
i tried fishing in the fishing well but the fish drops back into the well and guybrush suggests getting a better bait. he also wants to do something with the locket, but i cant get the point, where to use ist. i thought it looks like the controls of the royal hot tube.

That doesnt work for me, each time i try putting anything in the chest, one of the pirates tells me to get away from the treasure chest.. Is this a glitch in my game then ?

It's not a glitch. You need to sufficiently distract the two pirates. Ask them to settle their dispute with a staring contest, and then divert their attention. Now you might be able to put something in the chest that could help you find it once they bury it.

I won't spoil it, but if you can distract them for long enough, you might be able to put something in there that can help you discover where they bury the chest.

there's something that's broken with a locket-shaped hole
and then more...
it's on the jerkbait islands, but not spinner cay

There might be something in the chest that can help you get that turtle. Try looking at it again.

Just got to the eponymous siege and I can't figure out how to pick up the coals where Elaine was pinned down

What am I missing?

thanks for pointing me on it. i just realized only talking isn´t enough, but handing the tool to le chuck is.

oh that bit's brilliant. Try getting lechuck to use breath mints with the alter, with the tool, and use the tool with himself.

Hm, I won't want to ruin these puzzles, since I think it's more fun if people experiment, but I think it's safe to say...
You're missing something to pick up the coals with. Look around.

Aaaah, got the coals in the grill, but the molten mass won't stay molten for too long. Maybe I should try mixing it with something? Hmmmm...

I got the same problem with the coals... And I can honestly say this is the first time I have EVER been hopelessly stuck in a TT game (to the point where I get frustrated, give up, and come here for help)

and at the same time I feel like I am missing something painfully obvious... can someone please give a real hint?
