Well against my best efforts, I couldn't stop playing & now I've finished it. One question though... What was the point of the fish eggs, well & the fish inside it? If you put the eggs on your hook you can almost catch a fish, but it jumps back in. If you have the hints turned on, Guybrush tells you you need bigger bait. What is the point of this? It isn't necessary for completing the game. Is it just a red herring? If it is, it's an extremely elaborate one.

You'll need SPECIAL bate to get a SPECIAL fish.

Try exploring the old shack for clues!

By the way, did anybody notice the SEAGULL with a RED HERRING in the prolouge? It made me chuckle a bit.

I'm quite sad Meathook wasn't mentioned at all, though... At least I didn't see him being mentioned.

I was wondering what that was. I noticed its colour and what it signified right away, but you needed a red fish in the first game...
