Default Giant Hole in the plot

There is a giant hole in the plot in the current Part 2, The Siege of Spinner Cay. It is when the pirate hunter, Morgan Le Flay, cuts your hand off, she sails to Flotsam. Well my question is when you try to sail to Flotsam, you are told that you are being brought as close to the island as possible, due to the winds. Well how did she make it past the winds? (As seen when giving Dr.Marquis the hand in return for gold.)

What are you talking about? Have you played the chapters? De Singe wants Guybrush's hand. Guybrush didn't steal anything.

They mean Guybrush took the MerKey that controls the wind idols. Maybe the Marquis has another one, after all, LeChuck has one too. They seem to be common.

He means the wind controller. I noticed this too.

It was just cos of the filesize issues you can't go back to flotsam.

Personally I'm glad, the new islands each chapter are awesome.

My explanation: The winds aren't actually all that bad. Winslow just sucks at sailing. Next!

Man, how cool would it be that in the DVD release, they let you go back to Flotsom? Obviously you don't need to & there would be nothing to do there, but it would be cool as a distraction for a new player & just to make it feeel more like one big game instead of episodes.

TT have done such a good job with these episodes so far, I hope they put as much effort into the DVD also, just to say thanks to the fans by basically giving them MI5 at the end of it all.

Perhaps De Singe isn't on Flotsam anymore? I didn't actually notice the setting during their conversation... he probably was I guess.

Ah, but she's a pirate HUNTER. In fact, a steamboat would give her an advantage over her quarry.

Well, since De Singe doesn't have another key lying around (otherwise he would've started the winds sucking back in as soon as Guybrush made them blow out, right?), I'm thinkin' Morgan LaFlay's got her hands on one of De Cava's submarine things. Can't really think of any other possible explanation.

The era of the steamboat began in America in 1787 when John Fitch (1743-1798) made the first successful trial of a steamboat on the Delaware River on August 22, 1787, in the presence of members of the Constitutional Convention. @ http://inventors.about.com/library/i...lsteamship.htm

Piracy spans from the 1650s to the 1720s. @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Age_of_Piracy
