OK I give up, please help
I love Monkey Island, but I don't have the time or patience to use a whole day to solve a single puzzle as I did when I was a kid.
I still enjoy this series and I contribute my money to these gems. I'm trying to save the mermaid but the captain always shoot my mast so I have to go fix it. I take it I have to do something with the tree trunks on the island that she rebuilds my mast with. (Can I hope for a "ooops rubber tree" reference from the old games?) Either I have to find a rubber tree somehow, or add something to the trees on the beach? All the hint system does is say "We need to do some more plundering" or something, I've been over all the islands once and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do to move on. Thanks for the help guys! |

Hmmm now that I think about it, when I looked at the hot tub of the mermaid queen he said something about it looking sticky... am I on the right path?
