How can I unlock the treasure chest murray is locked within? :-S
I can see a lot of people has unlocked, so.. am I just an idiot? ^^

What annoyed me most about that puzzle is that I somehow got the idea that I had already tried that. When i tried it again later just for the heck of it, I facepalmed...

Same here...
Already had secured the other two votes, just Santinos missing.
I'm quite sure I did try the hook (and almost everything else from my inventory) on the chest at the very beginning - before even talking to Bugeye about membership - and Guybrush refused to. Turning on hints to max didn't help either, so I had to resort to the hints thread

Using your hook will unlock it but not open it. Once its unlocked you still have to click the chest again for Guybrush to actually look inside.
