So... not that I'm complaining or anything, but why have Elaine's eyes changed color from blue to green?

Her eyes were blue in the VGA version of MI1:

And blue again in CMI:

Now they're green:

So why the change?

Perhaps Elaine's TMI look was partly based on Steve Purcell's MI movie Elaine design (with green eyes)?

Better match with her poxy skin.

Then again, her hair changed from brown to red as well.

I know her eyecolour. It's the color of the ocean after a storm.

I've been wondering about her changing eye color as well. Didn't they do their research at Telltale?

Her hair was always red. At least in the VGA version of SMI. Just like Guybrush was always blond, except in the EGA version.

EDIT: By the way, where did you get that pretty screenshot of TMI Elaine, ATMachine?

I meant the close-up of Elaine from Tales he showed us. I don't remember a scene like that in the games, so it must have appeared somewhere else.

That image was everywhere before the first episode came out.... as well as the Guybrush picture with the cutlass and rootbeer with the orange sky behind him before they changed the scene to a stormy rainy night scene.

I'd imagine that it was a color coordination thing -- doing what looked good. It's a continuity goof, I suppose (though as pointed out, her eye color has changed before), but hopefully a forgivable one.

Looks like she's had just about every eye colour there is to have!

I like the green eyes / red hair combo. Telltale did a great job with their main character designs.

Its possible she had them changed with a minor voodoo curse.... you can explain anything with voodoo.

Yeah I like TTG concept artist he knows his stuff..... whats his name Ryan or something? I think he posted here a few times....
