Guybrush's Hand running around like THING from the Adams family? Now that's a theory I hadn't thought of. That could be interesting, and it would make Guybrush "Undead" for sure.

Hmmm... maybe everything took place inside a snow globe, and the real Monkey Island is altogether completely different, with monkeys in robot suits with laser guns.

For some reason he takes on the name lechuck and meets elaine and falls in love with her, who sends him on the quest to find the secret of monkey island. There he's transformed into the ghost pirate lechuck.

The end.
