DeSinge's Lab. There is a machine on the roof, click it. First button from the left, makes you lose mouth sensitivity. Go back to the bar, use the hook on pepper.

There are two types of insect that we're dealing with (not counting any noteworth villains, of course).
There are moths and there are fireflies.
Fireflies produce light. Moths are attracted to light.
What happened the last time you got sugar water all over something?
Furthermore, what happened the last time you got a light source near some decent clothes?
Now how are you going to get that sugar water all over DeSinge?
Splashing water on him is useless unless you convince him to come closer to you.
If the water won't come to DeSinge, have DeSinge come to the water.
What do you have on you that's hot?
Oh, right, it's the pepper!
Use the pepper on the Marquis. Watch the hilarity ensue.

Well, I have made the sweetwater and have the fireflies above it, but can`t use pepper on DeSinge? He just replies "hmmp, pirate humor".
