Do you have to be a TTG employee to be a forum moderator?

Just curious. (Or am I?)

There are a few forum-goers who are mods. A few old-timers, a few people who have shown themselves to be naturally helpful, a few people who knew which palms to grease, etc. You know how it is.

You most likely need to have 2 things, post count over 1000;
and be registered in 2007 earliest.
