Okay, I've got an inkling it's the cannon I'm meant to do something with but Guybrush says he hasn't the energy to get up there, but then there's the keys under the keel but there's no cursor while under the ship.

I don't know how to do spoiler tags on this forum, so spoilers follow.

Okay, so I'm in the early stages of the game (apparently). I just got the dog, gave him the sock, and now he's barking at Galeb. (Or Gabel. Or Vickie.) I have in my inventory the shred of life, the grog, the money, the tip jar, the anchor, the sock, and a photo of me. I have no idea what to do at this point, because Galeb keeps giving me the runaround.

If you had a method to gain someone's trust, it would have been clearly introduced as such when you got it.

Answer: You have to show the thief LeChuck's belt buckle you found in the chest upon entering the rift in the treasure place

I've completed every part of the Diet of the Senses except for the covering of the eyes. I keep thinking that the solution should be the eye coins, but I can't get any more, because my dollar bills are too wrinkly for the vending machine.

Nope, Spork! Remember the first episode of ToMI when Guybrush was a probationary Club 41 member? You should take a look in the club to refresh your memory.

PS, did I miss good vending machine jokes? Telltale's own is the topic of much amusement, so if I missed something funny...

I'm having a MAJOR human le chuck moment here... could be the lack of sleep trying to stay up.

Got dog, in thief's lair. Need help. Don't know what it needs to smell. Thought it be secret box. STUCK

OK, so I'm stuck in the Crossroads needing the sacrifice, Morgan talks about having some ideas, but wants me to do the rest of the parts first, I have. Is this a bug or intended?

Edit: nevermind, after a few clicks of the same conversation option, she finally gave in...

The dog needs to smell the sock. If you examine the sock, the thief will offer it to you. You will get creative to find the treasure

The fact there are two gum items in the jailcell caught me out. Darn the darkness of the pictures.

Ok so I've just got my body back but I cant seem to pick up the gum in the prison. Guybrush says he's already found the spirit gum, I've clicked on the gum on the bars and on the ceiling...he ate it but spat it out and now he wont touch it. What can I do?

Are you sure he's already found the spirit gum? You'll need to use an item from your inventory for that.
