Purchasing my photo from Galeb
i think this is a bug, i dug up lechuck's chest beneath Galeb before purchasing the photo from him, once i did that i couldn't complete the spell since i dont have the photo, i've had to restart again and make sure to buy the photo before digging up the chest.
i've figured all that by checking a walkthrough, i was desperate. |

Did you just try giving the money to Galeb after digging up the chest, rather than talking to Galeb? There shouldn't be a dead end there...

well something else i just noticed, you need to unlock the chest at the thief then return to the "center" and Guybrush will comment that Galeb has gone away

I assume you can buy your spirit photo now that Galeb switched places.
