Hello there,

I hope this is not covered somewhere else that I missed finding it but people like me that we pre-ordered Tales of Monkey Island are suppose to receive a DVD Collector's Edition with all episodes and I haven't heard anything so far about it.
Could someone from Telltale give us an official answer please?

Chill, the last episode was released like a month ago. Telltale still haven't made the W&G DVD yet, and from experience it takes at least 6 months before the DVD is even advertised, let alone released. You just have to wait, and it will come once you pay shipping.

Hi there Sybex!

As of yet, we are still working on putting the Tales DVD together to make sure it's the BESTEST EVAR and so on, so forth. At the time when it's available for pre-order, you'll get an email (newsletter, blog, the works) reminding you to enter your shipping address and pay the shipping fee, then it's on its way to you!

We'll be getting these out HOPEFULLY within the next few months, and we'll keep you posted. Thanks for your patience!

will they re dub the toy of lechuck in chap 4 aswell as lechuck in chap 1?

Is there a time limit for that? That is, if I don't want to pay shipping on just that and want to wait until another DVD is out to get both at the same time, do I still get the ToMI DVD for free, or will it have expired and cause me to have to pay for it again?

Nope, once you own ToMI you'll always have the option of getting the DVD shipped to you! As for the special Pre-Order Only cover, I'm not super certain, but I think we'd have enough for everyone that ordered.

Speaking of dubbing, I feel bad for Adam Harrington. "Yeah, you did a great job, but uh... Earl Boen's back. We're just going to go ahead and replace your work with his. Yeeeaaah... we're also going to need you to give us that paycheck back."

I know it was nothing like that, of course, but I still feel for the guy.

TBH, I'd be highly surprised if they DID re-dub LeChuck. They didn't with Max in Culture Shock, and I doubt they'd drag Earl back just to revoice a few lines.

They are/have done though. He re-recorded some for the trailer, and telltale mentioned in a previous newsletter that they would have the updated Ch1 up "soon" (read: next month. At least.)
