When i am questioning Lyle about tampering the pipe, i must have evidence. I can show the chisel but i am not done processing it. So it wont help.

You should be able to take a mould of the crack in the pipe once you remove the gas people turn off the gas and you remove the caulking. Once you are able to do that you have to compare the chisel to the mould from the pipe under the microscope. That will finish the processing part, and then you just have to show it to him when he denies breaking the pipe. Hope this helps

I've been stuck for ages on exactly the same spot, but figured today that it is not a bug!

First: Are you sure you got everything you need from the morgue? Did you check the wrist on the victim?

Second: Compare all three samples, from the victim, from the furnace pipe and from the generator. This is what I missed, I only compared the sample from the wrist and the furnace pipe, and then the sample from the furnace pipe with the sample from the generator. You need to compare all three of them, also the generator sample with the sample from the victim.

That's how I solved it. If it doesn't help, and all your evidence are green marked, check the walkthrough and make sure you've matched every evidence.
